ACV Effervescent Tablets vs ACV Liquid: Which Form is Better?

Apple cider vinegar is considered as the Golden elixir for good health as its cleansing and healing properties go way back in time to almost 400 BC when Hippocrates, the Greek physician, well known as the Father of Medicine, used it to treat and cure infections. Now centuries later, people still swear by it for a plethora of health benefits that it has to offer, right from managing weight, strengthening one’s immune function, enhancing hair and skin health, improving cardiovascular health to regulating one’s hormones and blood sugar levels, among other things. But did you know that Wellbeing Nutrition has two different ways of offering apple cider vinegar for its patrons? What are they and which one is better? Well, let’s find out as we read along.

What Is Apple Cider Vinegar?

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is not an unfamiliar kitchen ingredient. Everyone has heard about it at some point of time or the other. One often uses it in beverages, salad dressings, or as a marinade, among other things. ACV is prepared when apple juice drawn out of crushed apples is fermented. Once yeast is added to it, the sugar content in the apple juice is converted into alcohol. Thereafter, the alcohol is further fermented into acetic acid by adding bacteria to it. This is the primary active compound of the vinegar. The acetic acid gives the vinegar its usual potent and concentrated sour smell and taste.

In Wellbeing Nutrition it comes in two forms- ACV in a liquid, bottled form and the other is in the form of effervescent tablets. Let’s look at the differences between the two in great detail below.

ACV Effervescent Tablets vs ACV Liquid: Understanding The Difference

Let’s look at the pointers below to fully understand the difference between the two:

How are they different?

Apple Cider Vinegar Liquid is in a liquid bottled form. It comes in a raw, unfiltered and unpasteurised form with a mix of rich, healthy vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and enzymes that naturally bolster your overall wellbeing. The organic ACV by Wellbeing Nutrition is made by extracting and fermenting the apple juice of carefully selected fresh Himalayan golden red apples that are packed with high fibre, low sugar, and maximum health benefits. The fermentation process that the ACV undergoes, develops 2x more ‘Mother’ – a colony of good bacteria that helps one boost their immunity. They also come in a flavoured variant- one that is fortified with Amla, Black Pepper, Turmeric, and Cinnamon.

On the other hand, ACV Effervescent tablets contain gold standard ACV, further infused with the goodness of Garcinia Cambogia, which is a natural craving suppressant, and Pomegranate, which is known for enhanced efficacy and its huge antioxidant properties, all of which work symbiotically to naturally enhance one’s overall well-being.

How do you have it?

Both the variants of Liquid ACV need to be diluted in water. As per the recommended dosage, about 15-30 ml of ACV must be diluted in water and consumed and as they are too potent and concentrated to be consumed just like that, that too above the recommended dosage. On the contrary, having an ACV effervescent tablet is fairly simple. All you need to do is pop in an effervescent tablet in a glass of water, wait for it to fizz and dissolve completely before drinking it up.

ACV Liquid is a bit cumbersome to carry around. It comes in a big bottle and needs to be had in a diluted form with warm water or tea- whichever form of beverage you wish to consume. With all the additional paraphernalia that needs to be carried along with ACV liquid, it's challenging to carry around especially if you constantly worry about spilling it . On the other hand, ACV effervescent tablets are easily portable and dissolvable in cold water.

Appearance and Flavour

ACV seems a tad bit foggy in its appearance, which are nothing but the nourishing strands of the ‘Mother’ of vinegar that makes the ACV richer and healthier, increasing its healing and therapeutic properties. This is also what lends it its strong, pungent flavour with a bitter aftertaste, which makes it unpalatable for many. On the other hand, ACV with Garcinia Cambogia and Pomegranate effervescent tablets are palatable and have a refreshing flavour due to the inclusions and make for a red fruity drink. Most people love to devour it as a juice or a drink and is a healthier substitute for the same.

When To Consume?

ACV Liquid is preferably consumed first thing in the morning with warm water to start the day on a healthier note. On the other hand, ACV with Garcinia Cambogia and Pomegranate effervescent tablets are had 20 minutes before your meal for better results. It is best to avoid effervescent tablets first thing in the morning on an empty stomach as they can trigger acidity and also raise your sugar levels.

Verdict: Which One Is Better?

This blog is primarily there to tell you the difference between two Wellbeing Nutrition ACV products. ACV uses and ACV benefits stay the same irrespective of which one you choose depending on your preference. If you wish to have ACV in its potent form, first thing in the morning and are not bothered by its flavour then ACV liquid is for you! If not, then going in for ACV with Garcinia Cambogia and Pomegranate effervescent tablets would be the preferred option. Likewise, if you are travelling and don’t wish to carry the whole bottle of Liquid ACV, opting for the effervescent tablets would be ideal. So go for either of the two options to fulfill your body’s requirement and reap the maximum benefits.
